I already circled everything I wanna eat and calculated we shld spend under $200 bucks with the citibank 20% off yay which is great hahaha

Lucky we didn't go for the $200 pp nye set dinner!! Their normal dinner is only $88 pp!!

Hahahaha tbh idk how we ended up deciding to come here! Bratty wanted skirt or lawrys at first but I wanted brunch at W lol this was rly quite a random choice!!

And you know what we thought the portions were gonna be tiny so we actually ordered 6 dishes omg WRONG

This place is not those small plates then damn ex kind it's like the big plates kind. Which means it's actually very affordable

HAHAHA lame Im writing this after like almost a month but aiyah we paid good money to eat here so I must rmb it

This was the seared Atlantic scallop. Only one because $16 each and we are very kiam siap hahaha but this was guud

So we got it. Or rather I *insisted* we get it. Haha by insisted I mean I said 'if you don't let me get this i am going to throw a tantrum now' because Bratty 'did not want to pay $25 for three tiny bite size sandwiches'

But I think he was quite pleased later on because he realised they were actually not bite sized so he said 'cheh u show me the photo look so small'

But anw the verdict is this is quite overhyped la. I liked it but I don't think I wld order it again hahaha i rather have a lobster roll!!

Bratty *insisted* we order this hahaha then proceeded to GLOAT because it was only $28 and the size was that of a main course (compared to the king crab melt which is really just a starter) and there was really SO MUCH SEAFOOD.

I think there were like 6 juicy razor clams, tons of mussels, and 2 portions of crab legs. Super value for money!! Seafood was great and we loved the umami laden tomato miso gravy

OH AND THE CHARCOAL BREAD THAT CAME WITH IT.

Yum I vote this best dish of the night okay please everyone order this (as ur main not ur starter)

Hahaha and because we assumed the seafood stew was a starter, we got 2 other mains.

This is the buttermilk fried chicken with some LAOTIAN sauce thing that basically tasted... Asian lol and also a whole ton of roasted veg.

I tell you I ate ONE BITE and I was full. The portions here are huge. So yes we wld like to debunk the myth that adrift is expensive. It really isn't given how huge the portions are

Adrift burger hahahaha you know how we chose our mains? Cos these were like under $30 and the rest were like in the $35 to $45 range

Since this is our anniversary post i will say one of the things I enjoy about our relationship is how we are getting more and more cheapskate lmao like how all we wanna eat is ban mian these days and how our celebratory meals are all less than $200 now

Anw burger was decent but I think i prefer dB bistro and or butcher's club

WE ALSO GOT A SIDE OF SWEET POTATOES because I thought they sounded exotic. Like regarding come with SALTED PLUM creme fraiche hahaha it's a waste of money. We could have gotten an additional scallop instead.

We cldnt finish our food. I think we ordered enough for 3 big eaters or 4 small eaters hahahahahaha
