Hello it has been yet another great weekend and I'M SO HAPPY MONDAY IS A HOLIDAY so I've had enough time to be happening but also unwind from all the excitement 🎉 plus can I just say I super love short weeks hehe
Started the weekend off with brunch at Clinton Street Bakery!! Wanted a fried chicken platter but Bratty is still recovering from his flu so we got huevos rancheros.
I thought myself 'what a BORING choice' hahaha but it was GREAT. The salsa was so fresh and tangy!! And it went super well with the guac and sour cream and eggs. If I'm having a vegetarian day I think I would choose this in a heartbeat!

The last time I came I had blueberry pancakes so we decided to try something new! Haha I'll admit when I first saw this I was like HUH I'm paying 21 bucks for this but I don't even get a WHOLE BANANA?
BUT HEY there was banana between the layers too! Ugh as you already know, the pancakes here are so ridiculously good! Esp when they are piping hot and you stuff the whole stack into your mouth and the maple-drenched buttery crumbs melt on the tip of your tongue

Bratty and I went to check in at Naumi Hotel after brunch and we were quite impressed with the hotel!!
In typical boutique hotel fashion, the service was excellent and they really did think of everything - including ironing boards and umbrellas but I must say their lift was DAMN WRETCHED hahaha (it broke down the entire time we were there)

Our room!! We got a pretty spacious room and lots of points for the amount of light streaming in
Apple TV x many shots of the bathroom which was glorious
For some reason, the toilet bowl was in a separate room away from the shower and sink area
FREE HOOK COFFEE!!
FREE SNACKS lol bratty tabao all home machiam like he stocking up for winter!! But not bad his loot included 5 bags of TWG tea

Wanted to just chill in the room but grrrrrr we had to go for sake fest!! Was pretty fun this yr though cos I only stayed for one hour! Drank lots of ume flavoured stuff hoho then when bratty's other friends arrived he said

But all was good because we had the roasted barley soft serve!! And it was so light and refreshing HAHAHA it was more icy than we thought it wld be and also sweeter than expected! But I think it's because usually roasted barley tea is not sweetened! But anw like everything else they serve IT WAS WORTH TRYING!!

Haven't gotten anything pink in so long so i was v excited to try!
AND SINCE I USED IT I HAVEN'T USED ANY OTHER LIP PRODUCT. k so dramatic but I only got it 36 hours ago lol but it's really so nice that I haven't had a chance to use the red one yet hehe and it's so glossy and nice 🤗🤗🤗

After a very sad sunset (can you even call it that) we were stuck at the rooftop cos the lift broke down lol but we eventually managed to make it for dinner!! We randomly searched for Indian food at little india and finally found a place that fit our criteria (MUCH MEAT PLEASE) - Khansana Tandoori Village!!

TIP - Sit outdoors unless suffocating in thick powdery fumes is appealing to you. Also there were multiple power trips while we were there cos I think they cannot handle how fabulous we are.

First time trying tikka fish! It was great HAHAHA and the portion was v generous? I honestly thought it would be 4 pieces of fish on a skewer but no these was very big pieces
Fantastic aloo gobi!! I'm always damn damn sad when aloo gobi is drenched in sauce? I feel like the nicer ones are always the drier ones!
So I really liked this like the cauliflower and potatoes were soft enough but not soggy or mushy 😊

We listened to the waiters advice and got this stir fried lady fingers dish and it was SO YUMMY.
TBH I think when I next go back I will have a huge dilemma - order these dishes again? Or try something new? I guess we have to go back in a huge group so we can EAT EVERYTHING WOOHOO

Butter chicken!! This was one dish that really grew on us. It was initially damn sweet but after awhile we just felt like it was quite nice

But that aside, really quite liked my cheese naan hoho esp cos the cheese wasn't rubbery.
@merepoppins and Cedric also came down to join us then we all went to Mustafa!! No pics cos the crowd was just too overwhelming. But please refer to mags post for the best canned poppadums 🦍

Hehe my Sunday morning igstory series
Free breakfast! It was good. Buffet style but scrambled eggs were runny and nuggets were crispy and mushrooms were juicy. I totally stuffed myself
I love the kettle, you can see your water boiling lol
I had a bath with poppadum (the crumbs all fell in the water so I was taking a bath in poppadum oil ermagedd) then we had to check out

WOW the scallops were fat and juicy. Unfortunately this dish was too rich and there was not enough mentaiko taste. Sigh was a disappointing lunch 😭😭😭
Went back home and had brattys Thai tea mead and a long nap because I couldn't fall asleep at the hotel lol
Yawn then we woke up and went for dinner HAHAHAHA
